When it all began…

1920's

Talleres Unidos is born as the first manufacturer of license plates for motored vehicles in Mexico.

1950's

The exportation of our products to El Salvador begins.

1960's

The Company exports to Panama, Honduras and Guatemala. We become Talleres Unidos Mexicanos, S.A. de C.V. (TUMSA) and design our first logo.

1970's

Talleres Unidos consolidates itself as producer of official documents by integrating serigraphy to its manufacturing processes. Important contracts are awarded in Mexico and the company increases its exports to Guatemala.

1980's

German technology stamping process is introduced. We implement Italian technology in our serigraphy processes and integrate the most advanced technology in computerized labeling. New contracts are awarded in Nicaragua and we begin exporting to Belize. We become Talleres Unidos Mexicanos, S.A. de C.V.

1990's

We begin using British Equipment for labeling and incorporate thermal printing for serial and computerized document manufacturing; as well as a computerized coding system. New graphic products for vehicle control are launched. An IT area is created to integrate all the areas of the company in one internal network. We are the first company to fulfill all the requirement by the Government to obtain the registration as an authorized manufacturer of licenses plates in Mexico.

2000's

We incorporate high level security elements following very strict quality standards and switch to eco-friendly materials in all our processes.

2010's

We have the most advanced technology for digital printing, automation of production processes with security elements that do not allow the copying or falsification of the products we manufacture. In addition to remaining in force before the authority as an authorized manufacturer.
